Board in Engineering goods / assembly

Hi all,

Please let me if Board been used for 'Operational Planning/ Scheduling' for 'Made-to-order' kind of scenario - where BoM is tricky (engineering goods/ assembly). Even if it is not at a day / hourly level production scheduling it's ok
