Organization of Custom Links with Folder-Like Buttons
This proposal aims to improve the management and accessibility of custom links within Board by introducing folder-like buttons in the “Links” section.
Currently, custom links are contained in a single "Links" folder-like button in the Board menu, which can become cluttered as more links are added.
By allowing users to create additional folder-like buttons in the "Links panel", we can enhance organization and provide a more intuitive way to group related custom links. For example, users could create separate folders for different categories such as “Help,” “Dashboards,” or “Resources.” When hovering over the "Links" button, a pane would appear, displaying the folder structure, making it easy for users to navigate to the links they need without scrolling through a long list.
This organizational improvement would not only streamline the user experience but also allow users to include more custom links without overwhelming the interface. With the ability to group links logically, users can find what they need faster and with less frustration.
