Is there another way of applying rules to an algorithm in layout configuration ?

    Hi @Bruno ,

    a zero will be treated as a number, a dash is treated as text. You can't combine the two in one block other than making the block type "text". But that would mean you'll lose all number formatting on the other values in that column.

    Rules apply arithmetic calculations to the values of a cube on the rules' entity member.

    Long story short: You can't convert a zero value into a dash by applying a rule.

    If you accept the loss of format, you could use an algorithm for that (number scaling wouldn't work anymore either).

    There is no specific reason, I was only inquiring for future reference. However, upon further reflection, could you convert a zero value into a dash ?
