Currently Board allows master data changes through Data readers, Data views and smart imports.
We have a control on addition of new members into entities where we can either select or reject the entities. However, There is no specific control on relationship changes.
An user with any license can update relationship through smart import, data views… We can control by not having entities with relationships in smart import, however some designs need them to be available. This creates a complete chaos and messes up the master data when we have a large user base.
Can you please check on restricting Master data changes based on user license? a simple checkbox which can enable or disable Master data changes for Roles can restrict the specific group of users from changing Metadata.
