Board 14 Dates in Dataviews

We are currently in the middle of testing board 14 before upgrading and one of the things that users have raised multiple times is that they can no longer type or copy paste dates into the cell.

This is really annoying as it forces you to use the calendar which significantly slows down data entry.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so has anyone found a suitable resolution.

I tested this just now on my Board 14 environment and was able to make it work successfully.

When you do this, are you copying the date from an external source? Does it work if you copy one of the dates that you already chose with the calendar picker?

I apologize but the picture that I sent is done in FlexGrid. But I also did it in a regular dataview and was able to get it to work as well.

It does work if I copy an existing date, not something I'd tried, but it still has worse functionality in that I can't type a value anymore.

The copy paste is also only useful if the dates are the same but almost always they are different dates we are adding.

Hi Edward,

Are you copying them over from Excel? I just tried as a test to copy over a whole column from Excel and it worked with no issue.

Can you try changing the format of the Excel column to see if it works for you?
