Board 12 to Board 14 Data Model Migration – Best Practices & Feedback

Hello Team,

We currently have a data model that was originally created in Board 12 and is now running on Board 14.

If we create a new data model directly in Board 14 and then restore the existing data model into it, do you see any potential risks, compatibility issues, or unexpected side effects?

Personally, I do not expect major risks, but I wanted to raise the question

Hi Akrem, that shouldn't be a problem - backups from a previous version should restore fine, it's the other way around you'd have problems. You'll want to do some regression testing of course but that's true of any major upgrade.
