Default fiscal period cube + pager

Is there a way where I can apply a default fiscal period via dynamic screen selection based on a cube but also have a pager that will still show the other fiscal periods?

I typically need to make a compromise when applying dynamic screen selections based on cube. If i make a mapping cube to assign a default fiscal period, then I can't put a pager on the screen, because the pager only displays the chosen fiscal period. It has to be, dynamic screen selection + selector + label showing the Fiscal quarter/period up top for the user.

If I really want a pager for user to flip through fiscal periods and also have it display that period, it eliminates the need for a label, and a pager is just much easier to flip through than a selector. but i forfeit the dynamic selection based on cube.

You’re right, the pager only displays items included in the active selection and, unlike a selector, it cannot show inactive members. One approach to achieve the behavior you described, allowing users to clearly see the dynamically selected FY while also being able to browse other years within the same object, would be to use a selector with the horizontal type option, as shown below.be

This would keep the selected year visible while allowing users to quickly navigate between years without needing to open the selector pop-up each time.
