Dynawrite, the user clicks W, DOWNLOAD, the 'Oh no!' error appears

I am tired of seeing this bloke changing the lightbulb.

Can anyone provide a solution?

The user clicks the W, the pop up appears, they click DOWNLOAD. Next the 'Oh no' message appears.

HORRIBLE WORKAROUND: In the pop up, click MORE. Deselect a Dynawrite object (but you don't know which one so you must do this several times in order to discover the correct one!). When you click DOWNLOAD, if you have deselected the right Dynawrite, it'll work.

Our users have been suffering this for over a year. I think since B14. Anyhow, we are on B14.5 now and we still suffer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A Board Community message has come this morning, it highlights the latest 14.5 bug fixes for July 2026. One of them is:

Dynawrite. Exporting a Screen to Microsoft Word failed when the Screen and its Mask contained two or more Dynawrite Objects. This bug has been fixed. PRB-000023163

I am hoping this is The One!  :-)

You may also want to reach out to your Account Manager to ensure the issue is getting the appropriate visibility internally.

Hi @Hamza Mesbahi, yes we had two tickets open with Board Support. Recently I saw they are both closed. Still there's no solution. We will again raise a new ticket.

I wish more attention and support was given to issues with the Dynawrite object.
