Does Board support Ragged Hierarchy (aka hierarchy that has an uneven number of levels)?
Many Thanks in advance

Hi,
can you please specify your question. Board supports multiple parallel hierarchies meaning that an entity can have multiple roll-up paths. These different path can have a different number of levels.
If you're talkiing about a Top Down hierachie, no this is not supported by board and you has to fill it, to create a bottum up hierachie

Hi,
In my case, I am working with an Excel file, and right know this is the hierarchy I am working with
As you can see, I stablished a Code column and a description column.
I tried to fill the empty spaces with the same information of the respective hierarchy as you can see in the following screenshot
However, in Board, I am getting the following disposition
My question is, how can I define the structure in Excel in order to cluster the 1.1.1 epigraph, in its respective level, as you can see in the next image, that has been edited by me, to pinpoint what I want:
Thank you for any help you can provide in this topic
Best regards

Hi Andrea, I have an issue with ragged hierarchies, that hasn't been able to fixed. I explained the issue in the last interaction of this topic. It is important to highlight that I am using the unbalanced hierarchie feature in Board, and yet not getting the disposition I want.
If you could give me an advice about this, I'll appreciate it.
Thanks

Your source file seems correct to me.
My question is: do you use the option Unbalanced Hierarchy into your dataview?
I think that activating this option will allow you to have the data view as you edited yourself.
If you use the Unbalanced Hierarchy the 1.1 member will be breakdown by row as you want.
Please let me know.

Hi Andrea
Yes, that option it's activated, yet it doesn't displays as I want. Besides, there is other epigraph that it doesn't even showing in the dataview even though I have in the Excel file well structure

For example this one, the 1.3.2
And the excel file is structured as the following:
Is there any command I could use in the query that allow me to copy the aggregate Code and description for a null value?, that also verify the other hierarchy levels looking for null values?

It will be matter to open a ticket and see if the support can guide you to the solution you are expecting.
