how to create bar charts with several stacks?

Options

Hi,

I would like to create a bar chart with many stacking groups as in the following example:

Right now there are two stacking groups - combine by stack and combine by stack100. I don't see the option to have put some elements on the first stack, then combine others on a second stack and so on. There would be the possibility of using the secondary axis but that is just a second stack that comes with its own set of problems. What am I missing?

    Hello,

If each of the columns of the cluster is a different cube and the column are stacked by the same entity you might use the switch row column option to get something very close to your requirement.

In this case i have three blocks: gross sales, net sales and margin (algo).

By row I have state and by column quarter.

As you can see in quarter one i have three columns with their own stack.

If this is not enough for you and you need more flexibility i suggest to open a request in Ideas on the configuration level that you desire.

    regards,

  • Hi Antonio,

this is a pretty good suggestion. Not quite what I am trying to do, but it will work. Thank you.
