HI All,

I have question about cube version.

When i created cube with version like this

Why cube detected last version?

can i modify cube version that i choose?

Hi Wahyu Nugraha,

the detected cube version does not have to be the one that is used in an actual layout. The used cube version is always the one that allows data to be computed and has the smallest footprint (size).

So having a filter/select/master layout may interfere with the layout of the dataview.
In the dataview the axis play a big role for the selection of the cube.
Also user security, can modify the selected cube version.

So the selected cube version changes and is determined at run time. If you want to know for a certain case which cube has been used, you can see that information in the log files. (Cpsx... .log)

Thank for answer.

So when i use version with procedure, i must select entity first which relate entity version.

You don't need to do anything that you wouldn't do anyway. Board figures out by itself what to do. It will always try to do it the fastest way with the versions that are available.
