Dont show all selector items (in this case years)

Question

Quick question,

if I have a selector bar on my dashboard with a "year" entity attached

it shows me every single year from 2008 to 2019 depending on my database.

I just want to be able to choose between last three years like 2016 ,2017 and 2018.

How can I manage that?

Hi Antoni Theodorou

you can select the years of interest in the select at the top left. In the selector remove 'Show inactive elements'. At this point in the selector you will always remember those 3 years. Every time you select a year and then click on the 'Reset selection' button of the selector, they will always return those 3 years.

Helmut Heimann, dynamic selection is an idea that can work, but not strictly necessary, and would provide for the creation and management of an extra cube.
