Creating a dataview (help) ?

Is it possible to make a table as such in BOARD (image attached)

Could someone guide me in terms of what I should lookout for the in the development of the dataview.

I will have data for the manager, employees, employee targets, current revenue, % target ( which is a column algorithm current revenue / employee target *100)

Please any help will be most welcomed !!

Did you try the vertically aligned dataview?

I think it will do the trick, it puts the blocs as rows instead of columns, go in the axis configuration and set "verically" in the align option

  • Hi, Shoaib

Another option is to create an entity(called report metrics, for example) having the elements "total # of employees","# of employees that have a target","# of employees that achieve 100% or more" and create a cube by manager, report metrics and month/quarter. You can populate this cube using dataflow and it turns to be a simple board dataview.

  • It will only allow me to select one entity.

I want to have HoS and all the BDMs under them.

Its a simple table on excel but it is giving me a headache on BOARD.

All I want to show is HoS with all ther BDMs under them vs Quarter (1-4)

  • Hello,

In this case you can use Roberto's suggestion, that will do the trick

  • at the first glance i had exactly the same idea.

..." and it turns out to be a simple board dataview"

    the simpler the better
