Problem with PDF export (Only).
Hello All,
I am facing one weird problem and unable to get right solution,
Problem : Whenever i try to export any Data view or Dashboard through Board > Export > Create a PDF document i am seeing a file being created (at configured output location) but then it gets deleted automatically.
The File shows name (for Example) : Test.pdf.tmp ,
- This file then gets automatically deleted after few seconds.
Please note : I am facing this problem only with PDF export, Rest all files are being exported as expected.
I am using Board Version: 10.3.0.51220
Looking for help and Guidance.
Thanks and Regards,

ciao,
you have to try to configure, into Print Option of the screen, the path where the pdf file must be saved.

Please attach a printscreen where I can see the path.

Take a look into the antivirus log.
If the file suddenly disappear after creation could be it has been identified as a threat by the antivirus

Hi Mauro Leoni,
Thanks for suggestion, i checked that, doesn't seem to have any problem with Antivirus.
Also i am facing this problem just with PDF and no other export format.

Is possible to use a server path and not a local path. In example, if I use E:\Board\Data\export.pdf the file is not exported buti f I use
vmboard\board\data\export.pdf<file://vmboard/board/data/export.pdf> the file is exported correctly.0 -
Hi PIETRO DI CINO,
Tried this and tested it now, same problem with server path as well.

Ok, an other way out is to export in PPTX and convert the file in pdf manually or with an external tool.

Yes i guess i'll have to use RTF and PPTX for now.

We have a customer with this issue, but it is only on one particular machine. That machine was running a different version of their AV. I'm not sure if their IT resolved it, but my workaround was to save all as .doc (there was 100+) and then run a macro to convert all to pdf.
