Screen URL - Open Screen after Login (WEB Client)

Hi there,

if we try to open a screen in a web client by entering the specific URL in the browser BOARD Web Client will come up with the Landing page (Login-Page). After logging in the start screen of the capsule will open but not the specific screen I would like to open.

Is there a way to get a URL for each screen to link directly to a screen without the start screen of the capsule?

Dear Jörn,

in general it is possible directly to open the HTML5 Client with dedicated Screen.

The syntax for BOARD 10.3 looks like:

http://localhost:80/#/screen/?capsulePath=CAPSULENAME.cpsx&screenName=ScreenNAME&selection=Year:2011

Selection is optional.

How to deal with the spaces in the Screen and Capsules titels and with sub folders in this syntax?

For example I have a screen called "Delivery Reliability Total" in the Capsule "Corporate Key Figures".

My Capsule is in a sub folder "C:\Board\Capsules\Corporate Key Figures\Corporate Key Figures.cpsx".

attached syntax http://localhost:81/#/screen/?capsulePath=Tickets/testpicture.cpsx&screenName=Screen%1

opens the capsule testpicture inside the subfolder Tickets.

The Screen loaded is Screen 1. The % must been inserted instead the blank.

Unfortunately, I got an error Massage in the web client saying "An error occurred (cod_ref: 1542644862046)"

when I use the syntax.

My Browser (Chrome) is changeing the "/" in the capsule path to "%5C" or "%2F". Is this okay?

This is my current test URL before entering into the browser: http://BOARDServer/#/screen/?capsulePath=Vertrieb/Vertrieb.cpsx&screenName=test

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Jörn Constabel,

the syntax is correct, when we talk about BOARD 10.3. On my machine the Slash is also converted like you mention.

Is it possible, that you use an older release? Because the call of Screens changed with BOARD 10.3.

Is it working when you place the capsule in the root capsule folder?

For your sample it means: http://BOARDServer/#/screen/Vertrieb/Vertrieb.cpsx?screenName=test

Dear Alexander Kappes,

we updated our system to 10.3 but the URL-Syntax is still not working.

That means: We have a capsuel called "Unternehmenskennzahlen" which is in a folder "Unternehmenskennzahlen" on our BOARD-Server in the diretory "C:\Board\Capsules".

In this capsuel we have a screen calles "test" (this screen is not the homescreen).

Based on what you descriped above I used the following URL

http://board:8080/#/screen/?capsulePath=Unternehmenskennzahlen%5CUnternehmenskennzahlen.cpsx&screenName=Screen%test

I also tried to put the capusel in the root folder and used this URL:

http://board:8080/#/screen/?capsulePath=Unternehmenskennzahlen.cpsx&screenName=Screen%test

Both is not working. URL will change ...ScreenName=undifined and the homescreen of the capsule will be shown.

What am I doing wrong?

Solved it with Felix Csanady.

In our capsules we hide the Screenlist which blocks the link.

When we enable the screenlist the link-syntax given by Alexander Kappes is working.

Hi all

Is there any possibilty to hide the screenlist AND make the URL working?

bc. we are using an iFrame and it looks really bad with the screenlist and an iFrame.
