Sorting: screen, Excel, printing

Hi,

 

we have several reports sorted by decreased quantities. When we drill using month we have the situation below.

We are able to sort it by month in the screen but when we extract it in Excel or we print it it is still ordered as the original.

 

After sorting in the screen

Is there some setting to maintain the sort of the screen in printing and extraction?

    Hi Gabrielle,

     

    when you do the drill down remove the sort order that way the sort will be by month on the drill down then the extract will be correct as below drill with select on

    but if you change in the select on drill using the design  and remove the sort below

    then you can end up with report as below which extracts fine.

    does mean it has to be your default drill path but guess that will work for you?
