SAP data reader parameter and use current selection

Hello,

Is somebody as expertise with SAP data reader? Where can I find information about the parameter option?

Have you use the use selection with SAP data reader? I have try it and it didnt wor.

By the way I use the BOARD dedicated connector.

    Hi,

     

    the parameter can't handle variables, so you can't use @Selection.

    We're using this to reduce the time slices (in a manual way) in board, htat we doesnt create "huge" queries in SAP.

    So we have one DataReader with a parameter on SAP side (to choose hte year) and we have a procedure where we can decide which year should be loaded.

     

    The most common use (I think) would be to load different currencies or languages to a cube

    Hi Björn Reuber

    Is the possibility to use @Selection in the query parameters planned for the future ?

    That would be clearly a huge step forward to simplify some of the SAP data transfer architectures that we have today.
