Classification or Attributes of Entity-Members

Dear BOARD Users,

 

I am currently facing some problems concerning a new demand to analyse products/materials according to their classification in the SAP system.

One material has several entries in the classification "table". And different material groups are referring to different classification groups.

All in all I am facing a N:N relationship. I am used to work with attributes, which is a good way to deal with such kind of data characteristics.

The only option I can see right now is to add multiple entities representing my classification/attributes.

 

Has somebody a workaround to accomplish something like an attribute function?

Hi Steve

 

Board is based on n:1 relatioships so your solution is the right one.

Built a tree with the combination as base entity and sigle features as leaves

 

AB     --- A

          --- B

 

Once settled and fed you can easily make analysis and reports.by A, B or combinations.
