Broadcasting Error Message

Hi BOARD community

 

When a user is trying to save the Broadcasting functionality, an error message sometimes appears:

Does that mean that a user needs to have admin rights to adjust this file? This config file contains some critical information about the BOARD server for which we don't want a regular user to give access to.

 

Let me know what I am missing here.

    Hi,

     

    you can ignore this message.

    Everytime you change something within the option BOARD tries also to save the config file for Local Engine (which is only used under very seldom circumstances in current days). Due to the  fact, that board local engine is a "little BOARD server" running wihtin the client, it tries to save the config and (according to Windows policy) it is not allowed to.
