I'm working on the security profiles, and I'm trying to add a capsule folder to an existing profile but board shows an error. Does anyone know what the problem might be ?

what did you have done to get the error message?
Does the error message occur on each board client or just for special users /machines?
What is written inside the client error logfile?
Problem seems to be client specific therefore the questions.

All I do before getting this error is accessing Profiles Security and adding a capsule folder to a specific profile.
This error message occurs on all board clients.

are you sure that this is the correct message. This message just told you, that this operation can´t be done, when your client is in faulted state.
The Faulted state normally shows also some popup in the lower left part of your screen? You receive this? For what operation?
Can you change the profiles, when you close and restart the board client and directly navigate to the system -> security tab?

The faulted state is activated once I click on the Add Folder botton but there is no popup in the screen.
I tried to close and restart the board client and directly navigate to the system -> security tab but I still get the same error.

sounds like problem with your client installation.
You can try to reinstall board client using the setup.exe, which checks and reinstalls all required components if missing.
Alternatively the community isn´t the real spot for such requests. It would be better for you opening Ticket inside http://support.board.com
Perhaps one of the collegues can have webex for better investigation with you.
