(FIXED) Capsule Procedure Issue - GETBACK

Has anyone experienced issues with their capsule procedures in v10.5?  I cannot get any capsule procedure to function that uses GETBACK.  Instead, I get a constantly refreshing screen loop which is difficult to break out of without closing the browser (Chrome).

By removing the getback, the procedure performs as it should.  However, I cannot practically re-write every capsule procedure.  Converting to 10.5 is proving to be quite a challenge.  Is anyone aware of this issue in v11?

    Hi Paul,

Maybe try adding an Exit procedure at the end, not sure why the GETback is causing this issue for you though?

    Regards

Thanks Graeme for the reply.  It is possible that there were capsule migration issues causing this issue as it does not appear to be present in v11.  As I have decided to migrate from 10.1.4 to 11, I am now dropping this issue.

However, if anyone else experiences it and resolved the problem, I would still be interested to learn more,

I'm considering this fixed as there are so many factors in migrating from B10.1.4 to B10.5 it could be anything and not really fair to post a problem that may well be localised to a few users in esoteric situations.

  • In the release notes for the latest 10.5 it says:

"- A malfunction on Go to Group and interactive selection that leads to loop in procedure, has been fixed"

    This might solve your problem.
