Print Screen action not available in web - replacement?
What is the replacement for the 'Print Screen' procedure action that is not available in the web?
We have clients producing shareholder certificates, transfer forms, annual tax statements and invoices using multiple objects inside a panel printed as a single object and then capsule procedures to print/save to pdf.
I'm wondering what actions are available in the web to allow this same procedure based print. Looking in 10.5 I don't see any actions available in the procedure window that seem to provide the same functionality.
Thanks
Brendan

Dear Brendan Broughton,
thanks for your request.
Starting from 10.3 you can use the the "create Report" function inside your capsules to create your print options for a single screen.
Using the presentations you can generate a presentation depending to different screens / capsules and print them togehter.
Hope it helps

Advanced printing is now handled with 'broadcasting' which I have not had a chance to even look at yet. However, have you tried using the browser PRINT function hotkey [Ctrl]+[P]? If not, this is what I have used since BOARD 10.1.x. Whilst it is good for printing a single screen in general, it cannot print a tabbed container as a single object, which means I can no longer:
- Print a double sided sheet with property images and details on one side and lease details and floor plans on the other.
- Generate a Property Catalogue from a selection of properties.
Scale setting for BOARD 10.5.x onwards
I'm really glad that you asked the question as I have realised that, from BOARD 10.5.x, I need to notify my external clients of the need to adjust the 'Scale' too (shown in red below); once the scale is set, it remains for the web session but I do need to identify the value in order to inform users.
Other useful Hotkeys
Whilst on the topic of hotkeys, there are three full time browser (Chrome) hotkeys I use with BOARD and they are:
- Print Screen - [Ctrl]+[P]
- Full Screen On/Off toggle - [F11]
- Click to go Back - retains original selector settings when drilling to screen such as when drilling from a list of properties to a single property (as in the screen above) and back again. Use:
- Browser toolbar:
- [Alt]+[Left or Right cursor]
- Mouse extended buttons (if available)
