Database security:

Data selection Entity filtering, Does anyone know why/how I can use the Exclude button? no matter what I do its always unavailable.

    I don't believe it's possible in the Database Security section.  (My guess is that while it's using the same "Selection" dialog box as when you're working within the application, they've specifically disabled the "Exclude" button when configuring database security).  I suppose to get a definitive answer you're probably better off logging this question as a support request.

    Hi John Bruzzaniti,

     

    Craig Parris guess is right - the database security can only be setup in "include" mode - so specifying elements that belong to the specific user data access. The "exclude" is therefore disabled
