Problem of creating new relationship with a new entity
Hello everyone,
I have an entity Client that is linked to an hierarchy of entities ( the hierarchy contains 6 successive levels)
What I want to do is to link a new entity ( Enseigne) to the third level of this hierarchy
the entity Ensiegne is the most detail level in the new relationship.
How can I apply this solution in Board please??
Thanks and regards

Hello Jihane.
I do not understand your question.
If you want to add the Entity Enseigne to the third level you can do it. It will be an entity at the same level of the Entity Level 3 as a parallel branch of your hierarchies.
I do not understand what you mean with "the entity Enseigne" is the most detail level in the new relationship" .
An entity cannot be at the same time at the third level of a hierarchy and at a lowest level.
Please advise and i'm sure we'll have a solution for you.

Hi Jihane,
It is POSSIBLE - however, I'm not sure if it's practical within BOARD ..... you'd really have to test it pretty solidly to verify that it's working OK. In the example below, I've created entities Level1 -> Level6, and these are all related. Then I create an entity "Enseigne", and its immediate parent is "Level3". You can still configure and normalise the relationships, but you'll notice in the second image (graphical view of relationships) that BOARD can't display the "Enseigne" entity in the view (it doesn't really like relationships to be ragged from the top down).
