What kind of database is BOARD? Graph, relational or something else?

BOARD does some great stuff with the HBMP database technology, but what type of database is it? Is it a graph database? Is it strictly OLAP? I don’t think it’s relational. I’m just trying to understand more about the theory behind it.

for sure board hbmp Database is not a relational DB, it's a "real" multidimensional Database
