Board 11.1: How to use check box in block appearence in a dataview?

The checkbox wasn't working on board 11 or am I using it improperly?

Found answer the cubes were not syncronous, my mistake.

    in my 11.1 it is working fine. Maybe you´re dataview isn´t configured well.image

    It would be interesting to understand what the particular issue was here.

     

    In the meantime, to assist anybody else with the same problem, possible causes could be:

    • Your security rights don't permit data entry
    • The dataview infocube has not been set to 'enable data entry'
    • The screen selection is not at the lowest (leaf) level for the cube that you are attempting data entry (I think this is probably the most common reason for this problem.  You know when you are at the correct level when the cells change to yellow, as you see above (assuming you have kept the default formatting for data entry cells).
    • Workflow might be locking you out
