Formula Editor - Layout Error

Dear All,

 

I want to use Nexel in My Dataview Layout. But, After Add Block I got error message.

 

 

 

What is the purpose of the message in question? Is there a better way to display alert on my layout ?

could you please share the information on which BOARD version you are trying to do this?

Hi Suliyarto Karta,

one first thing you could try is ticking "show all" in your column settings as shown below.

Then you will see your block in Nexel and can edit the formula.

And--by the way, I'd always start with defining the (to be) Nexel block in your layout first and then switch to Nexel formula editor.

problem is due to missing row entity.

 

Weight SLO is your cube name, right?

 

When you insert some Entity by Row at least with one member nexel will work correctly and the error isn´t occuring anymore.

 

By the way our Nexel documentation, which may help you working with it.

My cube with 1 dimension. Weight SLO is dimension of cube with value L3M, L6M and L12M. I try with Deepest Entity Rule but the results are same. I want to make notice/alert if total value not equals 100%. Is there way for these ?

in general the Nexel error message is because you don´t have entity by row:

 

 

Because you wrote you just need Notice / Alert for the total nexel I think is little oversized.

 

You can use the alert function combined with column algorithm:

 

 

I think this is much easier.
