dynamic date - but not from 01.01. ...

Hi

 

what should I do if I want to have a dynamic (date) screen but not from the 1st of january? I would like to start at the 1st of july.

    Hi Hendrik Hellwig,

     

    do you want to start from July, 1st because it is the start of your fiscal year?

    Then, I'd propose to use the "Fiscal Year" in your time-hierarchy and refer to the fiscal year in your selection.

    ciao Hendrik Hellwig, 

    is possible to dinamic select members with a cube structured i.e. by month or by days. You have to identify the date range and write into this cube with a dataflow and apply it to the screen as "Dinamic Slection". I use this in order to see data updated to the last month declared as complete (in terms of accountability) by our subsidiaries. Then every subsidiary screen shows only the "closed month" with flag on the cube.
