Hello dear Board Team

There are several limitations with the Excel Export and displaying graphics/ diagrams with the new version 10.3.0

Excample: 

- An error occurs if there is a special character in the header of the layout (/?@)

- An error occurs if the header of the layout is longer than 31 characters

This ist because Board copies the name of the layout in to the tab folder of the Excel sheet. And Excel has this limitation. 

Question: Why does board not delete the special characters before exporting or cut the length of the layout header?

The effort to customize all layouts in a big board application is enormously.

 

Other example -> graphics -> HTML Break

If in a diagram there is a name in the 1. block and in the header / Board 10.3.0 shows a HTML break

Question: Is there a patch or something to fix this bug?

 

3rd example -> interactive user selection

We have this procedure executed while clicking on a button on a screen:

Then in Web this interactive selection pops up:

If the user now select "clear" (LEEREN) and selects 1 member of the entity, the selection will not be applied to the screen. But when the user deselect every member of the entity one after one and select the desired one, then the correct selection will be applied to the screen.

 

Is this problem known? Or do we have to change something with the procedure? In the version 10.1.3 and in the FAT Client, the selection works well.

 

The export functions except of this errors works very well and the snapshotter is great designed.

    Hi Flavio,

     

    as far as I know our Lab is currently working on most of the problems you are adressing and there should be a fixed Version in the near future.

     

    One request from my side, if you have obvious problems like those, please open a Ticket instead of creating a thread on BOARD Ville, cause only then we are able to track you case in the best way.
