Profile update for data entry doesn't get refreshed

I wanted to grant a user access to data entry. I created a new role, assigned a Lite Plus license, and database profile with "Ok" to relevant cubes for the data entry. Still, this user doesn't get access to edit the gridview.

The i assigned the same user an admin profile which i was using to dev and update data, no change, the user doesn't have access to to edit the gridview. and yes i tried logging out, unloading all the databases.

Some ideas:

clear the local cache of the Board client, from Board options > default.

restart the service

restart the pc of the user.

Is the db profile set in read & write?

Hello,

Maybe the problem is not in the profile itself, but in the grid you use for dataentry.

Please check that the lock dataentry is allowing the user to enter data and that the user is inputting data at leaf level or with split and splat.

Otherwise try creating a new dataview from scratch with no dataentry locks.
