Level 200, Module 204: Why is the RUN button not enabled after following mentioned steps?

Description:
I’m working on Level 200: Building a Planning Solution (Module 204). I enabled Log for H - Product, H - Location, and H - Material Data Readers, selected the respective CSV files, and checked the boxes for these readers. However, the RUN button remains disabled.

Question:

Why is the RUN button not enabled after following these steps? How can I proceed to upload the data?

Hi @Prince,

This behavior is expected and typically occurs when no source file is selected for one or more Data Readers.

In Board, the RUN button is enabled only after all selected Data Readers have a valid source file assigned. Until this condition is met, the Data Readers cannot be executed.

Why the RUN button is not enabled

If the File column is empty for any selected Data Reader:

The Data Reader cannot be executed
The RUN button remains disabled

How to view and select the source file

If the File column or file names are not visible in the Data Readers grid:

Select the relevant Data Reader(s)
Expand the view to display additional columns
- Use Ctrl + mouse wheel to zoom out, or
- Adjust/expand the grid columns so the File column is visible
Locate the File column
Click the file selector (magnifying glass icon) and choose the required source CSV file

What happens after file selection

Once all required source files are selected:

The file names appear in the File column
The RUN button becomes enabled
You can proceed with executing the Data Readers and uploading the data

Please try to choose the file to load for each data reader, then deselect and reselect data readers again

thanks for the suggestion. I tried choosing the file for each data reader and then deselecting/reselecting them multiple times, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. The RUN button is still disabled. Any other ideas I could try?

Thank you for the guidance! The below steps worked perfectly for me.

Select the relevant Data Reader(s)
Expand the view to display additional columns
- Use Ctrl + mouse wheel to zoom out, or
- Adjust/expand the grid columns so the File column is visible
Locate the File column
Click the file selector (magnifying glass icon) and choose the required source CSV file

The issue was that my screen was at 100% zoom, so the File column wasn’t visible. After zooming out to 80%, I was able to see the column and select the source files.
