Hello,
Are breakpoints supposed to be ignored for a user with a regular User license?
I'm trying to investigate a Procedure that fails when running as a User, but not as an Admin.
Can't find any documentation regarding this.
Thank you
Hello @Samir Jones,
yes indeed. They won't be recognized with a User license.
They only are recognized with a Developer license.
Best
Fabian
@Fabian Frommann, thank you for your quick reply.
In addition: With a Power User license it's also possible for Capsule Procedures.
While this particular scenario isn't fully documented in the Board Manual, more information is available below for those curious about procedures and the debugger function below.

HI guys,
any formal confirmation on that topic ? I did not find a proper answer in the documentation, even if in my experience the breakpoints are indeed ignored if you don't have a power user or developer license.
In practice, I just had an issue with a procedure launched through the scheduler by a technical user with Lite license, which stopped just at the breakpoint, while it should have been ignored. Anybody has an experience on this ?
Thanks,
Etienne
Hi Etienne, yes with scheduled procedures I believe it will stop when there's a breakpoint, I know I've seen that before, probably for the same reason it will fail if there's any other interactive step (screen refresh, interactive selection, etc.).
Hi @Robert Barkaway , thanks for the feedback. It does not seem a normal behavior, as with a Lite license it should be ignored, but I suspected this kind of behavior as indeed the debugger is interactive.
From what I see in the diagnostic log, the scheduler does not ignore the debug even with a Lite license, and sends to the client, which fails and exit.
