Change / tranport of changes through landscapes (Dev, QA, PRD)

Hi, what mechanism is mainy used for change control/transport promotion between respective landscapes? Is this mainly manual or is there a solution for this purpose? Also whether this solution is reliable and if someone have determine alternative ways to manage cubes, procedures etc. between instances? Thanks

I think BOARD Transport Tool will be your solution.

The Transporter is integrated in BOARD Server Engine and can be used for your demands.

Hi Alexander Kappes, thank you for the prompt response in this regard. We are utilising Board (Version: 10.1.3.41110) on a SAAS model so want to know whether this will be relevant then in this scenario as well?

in genreal it´s no difference if you use the Transporter for Cloud or onPremise instances.

I've been told that the transporter solution is not stable and this by our Board service provider in the UK. I want to know that this is indeed reccommended by Board as the solution, hence my question incl the version we are using as well.

Hi Johan,

from our point of view the updated version of the Transporter in Version 10 is stable and should be used. We're already using it in some of our projects

How do I get up and running with Transporter - there is no HBMP Transporter file in C:\Program Files\Board\ on any of my Board servers.

Hi Andrew,

which version of BOARD are you using?

Normaly the Transporter is placed within:

"C:\Program Files\Board\Board Server\HBMP Transporter\HBMP Transporter.exe"
