This is wonderful news! Just took the survey :)

Over the past few months, I’ve been less active in contributing to the Community, though I’ve continued to gain valuable insights from exploring its content. I often find best practices and occasionally draw inspiration from how specific functional and process requirements are implemented in Board

I would suggest we expand this idea by including "custom tags" to the cubes which can be used for sorting, filtering and search. similarly to how groups work, it would be great to add "tags" which would greatly enrich ease of model understanding and navigation.

Ciao Sebastian, i think cognitivespace and BOARD functionalities like nlg might be a useful instrument for approaching data querying and business intelligence from a different perspective. It sets the basis for a new approach to data navigation which is less "structured" (i.e. start from a predefined or existing report)…

Hi, our Product Support Knowledgebase section will soon be closed as all of the documentation existing in that section will be migrated to our Resources section in our Community. It is also to streamline and foster End User self enablement that we have created our BOARDVille Community. i'm positive that existing…

hello Praveen Navara thanks for joining our Community. in order to know more about BOARD and learn how to use it, you can (as Bob Gill correctly mentioned) - visit our website, use cases and know more about how our Customers have implemented BOARD here or here - access our documentation, wikis, howtos and examples in the…

hi Daniele Di Lorenzo the SAVE and RESTORE current selection are useful to take a "snapshot" of the current active selection of a procedure. (note you can "name" a selection when you save it, and you can "restore" any selection previously saved, using its name) The functionality of RESTORE is in principle equivalent to the…

hi William Le in addition to what Daniele Di Lorenzo as already correctly said, you know selections can be applied to different objects and actions in a BOARD solution, e.g. you can apply a selection to a screen, to a layout or use them in procedures. This last case is the most interesting as it involves different aspects…

hi all, i think a potential way "around" this behaviour is to color the background of the marker using the same color of the series. in this way, even if the "marker" overlaps with the bar and might even be rendered outside of the bar itself, at least you are sure you recognize the series (by the colour) and you can still…

Hello Travis Metcalfe The area you are looking for is the Inspirations That is where any other Citizen can share examples of applications or specific solutions they have deployed in BOARD. Another area you might want to have a look at is the Resources where BOARD publishes examples of using standard features or examples on…

Hello Mike Westley you can find the same information here Howto: Embed a report on other sites

Hi William Le, i have slightly modified the title of your question as it seems the core of the discussion is about the high consumption of resources you experience with the BOARD Windows Client, which of course determines a poor performance, This should help all other community members to better identify the topic. Hope…

Hi Bob Gill, Designing a solution is never easy (combining UI + UX is a job in itself); I usually ask for the customer’s branding guidelines, which normally cover also fonts and styles. When this is not the case, I usually browse: ICONS - www.iconfinder.com (for nice icons - which I usually prefer minimal and flat) COLORS…

Hi Thomas Ironstone i have removed the link from your response as the item you were sharing was specifically resolving your case and had been evaluated alongside with your environments characteristics. The approach i would suggest is still to upgrade to 10.1.3.41110, and if not possible, contact the Support Team so that…

Hello Giles Corner, i have modified the title of your question; this will make it easier to find for anyone else who might experience the same or similar message. More hints or suggestions about titles can be found in Question Titles: Best Practices I'm available for any clarification you might need Ciao, Gabriele

Hi all, you can find more layout algorithms in this article BOARD Layout Algorithm Syntax These are available to be used both in algorithm blocks and in the dataflow. Hope this helps! Ciao, Gabriele

Hi Paul Stegmann, hi Etienne CAUSSE i think there is no such option in BOARD as of today. What's possible though is to remove all downtotals from the Rows (which will also remove the grand total). Another option could be to format the grand total line in such a way that it is "not visible" using dataview formatting options…

Hi PIERLUIGI MONTAGNI i just edited your question as in the BOARDVille User Community we are asking our citizens to contribute in english only. This is to allow every other Community member to contribute and to widen the number of potential contributors. You can read more in our About the Community section and What happens…

hi Sonal, it's probably best if you submit a ticket so we can respond and help you on your specific case.

Hi Andrea Masiero, the easiest way to achieve such kind of reporting and save the changes you have in the hierarchy, is to create another entity "Sales Rep" as part of your BOARD data model. This entity should then be added to all of the information (infocubes) which might benefit from this "additional" navigation (i am…
