Allow the "|" character to be used when searching and filtering

1) What is your idea? To allow Board users to use the character "|" in text strings when filtering and searching.                                                  
2) What specific problem are you trying to resolve?  Energy product names contain the "|" character in them.  When an energy trading compliance person monitors their trading activity using the service developed with Board, they are unable to enter energy product names to search and filter.  For example, an energy product name looks like this, "PHYS|POWER|GERMANY|EUR|BH|QH11:30|20211220".  We are looking for a solution to allow use of energy product names as they are without having to enter a "\" before each "|" in the product name.
3) What workaround have you found or used?  In order to use an energy product name to search or filter, a "\" has to be added in the product name before every "|".  For example, the product name "PHYS|POWER|GERMANY|EUR|BH|QH11:30|20211220" has to be entered as "PHYS\|POWER\|GERMANY\|EUR\|BH\|QH11:30\|2021122" or the search or filtering won't work.
4) What is your role in the organisation?  I am the Programme Manager for my organisation's Data Programme.  We are developing data services for paying customers.
