VERTICAL DATA VIEW as new distinct object

I would suggest to develop a new object, the VERTICAL DATA VIEW
A lot of reporting / dashboard uses this approach.

Now I have these options:

- Set a data view and layout as Vertical Alignment; but this configuration has a lot of limitations (e.g. excel export) making it usable in a very few cases.
- Use a balance approach defining an entity as report line + rules. It works better but requires time for setup, have limited flexability and some other limitations.

It would be great have the VERTICAL DATA VIEW as a new native object, with options similar to the normal data view, easy to set and flexible in use.
