In-Built Weighted Average Time Functionality
More often we get a request of customers to create reports on an aggregated time level e.g. Quarters/HalfYear, Full Year. However some KPI cannot be aggregated but needs to be recalculated, since this needs to be a weighted average over de selected periods. Unfortunately this can only be achieved through a procedure and additional cube, or a very complex layout in combination with a rule which is almost impossible for the customer to achieve.
I would like to propose to have an in-built time function which is the Weighted Average. This will simplify the life of customers and consultants.
