Currently, when entities are added to the "Row Group" interface of the Flexgrid object, the entites are shown on the screen as expected. However, when a Flexgrid is exported to Excel (with flattening applied), the "Row Grouped" entites are not on the exported screen by default.
By default, when an entity is added to the "Row Groups" interface, the entity is automatically unchecked on the primary fields interface. This means that while users can physically see that entities are on the screen they wish to export to Excel (with flattening applied), the entities appear to be missing upon export.
The only way to successfully export the entities added to the "Row Group" interface is for the user to know that they need to scroll back-up to the main field interface and manually re-check the entities. The result is that the entities appear on the screen as standalone columns in addition to the "Row Groups" section. Again, there is no notification that the entities moved into the "Row Groups" section have been removed from the main fields interface.
I think it would be ideal if items added to the "Row Groups" section did export with the rest of the screen. Alternatively, it would be nice if the entities that the user moved to the "Row Groups" section are not unchecked from the main fields interface; while duplicative, at least this would allow user to see the data in the exported screen.
