Getting the most out of your Board Community experience means knowing when new discussions are posted, new questions are answered, and added information is ready for viewing. Category Following and Custom Notification Preferences will help you get started!
- Stay Informed, Effortlessly
When you follow categories, you choose to get in-app and/or email notifications about new content in those categories. You select what's important to you, so no more missing out!
- Customized Notification Preferences
Not all updates are created equally. You can decide if you want alerts for new posts, comments, or even from our new Scout AI assistant—down to the type of notification (email or in-app). Perfect for tailoring your experience and preventing notification overload.
- Easy Access to Favorites
Even if you mute notifications, 'followed' categories are listed on your Followed Content page, found in your Account & Privacy Settings page under your avatar. This gives you one-click access to your favorite discussions and events whenever you log in.
Bookmarks, Subscriptions, and Notifications
There are two ways of staying current on all your favorite discussions and categories.
Follow a singular post or discussion by bookmarking it and visiting your personalized bookmarks found in the profile dropdown in the top right corner of the screen.
Follow a complete category, such as Best Practices, by clicking on the bell icon to subscribe to the category and selecting your notification preference.
Manage subscriptions, notifications, and communication preferences (email, in-community notifications, or both) by visiting your profile, clicking Account & Privacy Settings, and then Notification Preferences.
