Module 210 - Data not showing on Expense Planning Screen for the UK
Hello,
I can see this was an issue for previous users but the steps in those discussions have not worked for me.
After configuring the layout for the table, and applying the toolbar selectors, no data pulls through when I choose the UK. However, it works fine when I select Italy.
My data procedure was adjusted as advised and I have run this again on the back-end:
I also re-ran the data readers this morning as I noticed that as a potential fix in a previous discussion:
As mentioned, when I run for Italy, the data comes through:
Please advise on how I can fix so I can proceed. Thank you

@Adetola Morgan I have fixed the issue on my side, here is the solution in case it would work for you :
The error was on the Data Reader side, caused by a weird bug. My "ACT - Expenses" Data reader would not work properly because the file which it's supposed to be connected to (UK_Expense_Data.csv) would change automatically to "UK_Sales_Data.csv" every time after the connection or mapping.
I had to manually correct the file source before running again the Data Reader without editing the actual Data reader itself.
The other data readers work fine, but this one is glitched out for some reason, and maybe this is what has happened on your side too.Hope this helps !

Hello Adetola,
I understand that after configuring the layout for the table and applying the toolbar selectors, no data is displayed when selecting the UK, while it works correctly for Italy.
Let’s walk through a few steps to investigate and resolve this issue:
- DataReader Verification:
Since you mentioned running the DataReader this morning, could you confirm which DataReader was executed? Additionally, please verify if the DataReader is returning valid records after execution, as shown in the image below.
- Account Entity and Item Numbers:
Please check whether the Item Numbers for the Account entity (and all other entities you have created) match the example provided in the screenshot below.
- Relationship Setup:
Can you confirm whether the relationship for the account entity has been correctly configured? Refer to the attached screenshot and ensure the relationship setup aligns with the provided example.
- Dynamic Selection Check:
Finally, after applying a dynamic selection based on the Cube BUD - DF - Expenses LC, can you click on Currency and confirm if GBP is displayed as shown in the image below?
Please review these points and let us know if anything requires further clarification or assistance. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response.

Hi John,
Thanks for responding. Yes, I have double-checked and all my screenshots match the data in yours. Please see below, in case I am missing anything.
- Data readers: All of the data readers were run again this morning as I stopped working on module 209 on Friday and picked up with module 210 today.

Hi @John Williams when looking at my data again, I notice that when I select the UK both currency options are selected. This is not the case for Italy. Could this be the problem?

I believe you might have missed a step where you need to enable dynamic selection based on a cube for the "Currency" Entity, as shown in the screenshot below.
When I removed my dynamic selection, I could see both currencies, similar to the screenshot you shared.
Please try enabling dynamic selection for the "Currency" Entity, and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Could you please confirm if the selectors on the Sales Planning screen are working as expected for you? While you check this, I will actively discuss your issue internally to help ensure a quick resolution.

Yes, no issues with the selectors on the Sales Planning screen.

I've got the exact same issue as Adetola Morgan and have double-checked everything but to no avail. I can't find an explanation for this.

@Mika Thank you Mika. I also ran my expense data reader again for both countries and both of these steps seem to have fixed the problem
