Our client has multiple companies, 2 companies have the reporting period from February until January, and the 3rd company has a regular reporting period, from January until December. 1. Abstract Managing a Weekly Fiscal Calendar presents a recurring challenge for organizations operating with 52- and 53-week Fiscal Years. The presence of an additional week disrupts like-for-like (LFL) comparisons, distorts year-over-year variance analysis, and complicates budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.…

Hi, I have an issue in this section. I have set the FCST 3+9 as the data entry version. And now I am in the step above. In the Forecast group I shall add a step after 15 as below I would assume that Actual months and period <>0 should be three as FCST 3+9 is defined, but I always get nine. This is the same issue why I have…

Hi there, I need a new Half Year entity, parent of Quarter (Q1+Q2 = H1; Q3+Q4 = H2) and child of Year. Entity members have been populated for all years in my system. However, when I try to fix the relationship as Day > Month > Quarter > Half Year > Year, this new entity doesn't get captured in the correct way. If I drag…

I would like to understand why, when I enable the Previous Year time function on the cube, the result still shows the current year's data. For example, I only have data for 2024. However, when I activate the function, the values returned are still from 2024 — instead of returning nothing (since 2023 data doesn't exist) or…

In the rows I have the day entity. In column 1 the possibility to enter a number of new hires and in column 2 the end date for the new hires. The date on which I enter the new hires should represent the start date. In a procedure, the number of new hires should now be written to the days from the start date to the end…

1. Abstract In many cases, we will need certain mappings in our Calendar to define specific time frames for reporting and planning purposes. Some of those may be custom time dimensions and others might be created by mapping the standard calendar to specific periods. All those mappings have to be kept up-to-date. That can…

Hi Board Team, I would like to calculate how many percent is passed for the current month. Basically, use today's date divides no.of.days in the current month. For example, today is 9th Oct. I would like to achieve the calculation of 9 divides 31, which is 29%. Can I use BOARD default time entity Day and Month to achieve…

Hi, I need to load some discount values from a table in SQL but the table does not have a month column. Instead, we have 2 separate columns; for Start Date and End Date. In normal circumstances, I would just take the last value from each of these dates and subtract the two lists, leaving me with the period between being…

I have two questions - Can we update the description of pre-existing time entities using data reader? For example - In BOARD ,day entity has code = 20240919 and description = 19/09/2024.I want to replace description with "Thursday". My Fiscal Year starts from July.I want my weeks counting to start from July instead of…

Once a year, I plan a task to extend the time range by one year. I tried extending it by a year, which resulted in unexpected changes to the time entity relationships. In the example below, the number of child entities Month for FY=2023 should remain 12, but has become 3. Before the time change After the time change I have…

1. Abstract In Board, the definition of the time range becomes very important because it guides the data that will be loaded and made visible to the end user. When setting the time interval, there are some considerations to bear in mind to avoid running into unpleasant situations during the development phase, where the…

Hi, I need to Extend the To Year and I tried to follow the How to Guide: How to change the Time range in GCR But I don't have or I don't know where to find the different elements you quote in the text: the location where this file should be placed (%Conso_Dataset%\Standard_Entities\Tree Month.txt) and the procedures ADM-…
